CORNWALL, CT / FERNANDINA BEACH, FL –
KAMAN – Loraine Kaman, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2012. She was born January 24, 1947 in Winsted, CT; daughter of the late Kent and Mary (Marks) Spear.
She was the loving wife of Charles "Bill" William Kaman, II for 30 years. She resided part-time in Fernandina Beach, FL where she ran a business with her husband before retiring in 2002. She also spent time at her home in Cornwall, CT where she enjoyed painting, planting in her garden and being with her friends and family. She was an avid animal lover and adored her Basset Hound Beazlie. She was an active community member and gave generously to local charities. Besides her husband, she leaves her daughter, Tracy Della Valle, her daughter, Jill Campetti, and her son, John Campetti.
Funeral services will be private. A Memorial service open to the public will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the United Church of Christ in Cornwall, CT (cornwallucc@aol.com) at 2 PM. Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted has care of the arrangements.
