ZABLOCKI – Robert Francis Zablocki, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 with his loving family by his side after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Bob was the loving and devoted husband of Pamela Jean (DelRossi) Zablocki. He was born July 8, 1948 to the late Bernard and Stella (Mworka) Zablocki in Webster, MA. He graduated from Catholic School. In honor, he served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. Bob was the owner of Gateway Auto, LLC in Winsted, and most recently fulfilled his dream of opening the restaurant, Charcoal Bob's which gained it's name due to his generous service at the Winsted Elks Club #844 where he was an active House Committee Member. Along with his wife, Bob is survived by his son, Jason and wife Aaryn of Bowie, MD; his daughter, Heather Anselmi, her husband, Pete of Guilford, CT and their children, Harrison, Cooper and Marlee who were the light of his life; a brother, Richard Zablocki of Winsted; several brothers and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous friends. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Forest View Cemetery, Winsted at 10 AM with full Military Honors.
