COON – John M. Coon, 42, passed away unexpectedly on June 27, 2012. Born January 31, 1970 in Winsted; the son of Nancy LaCasse and the late William Coon. He graduated from the Gilbert School. John was a generous and giving person who always put himself last. He lived for his son and his love of Harley Davidson motorcycles and Mustangs. He enjoyed racing and detailing cars. He is survived by his son, Michael John Coon of Winsted; his brother, William S. Coon of FL; close uncle, Leon Coon; close cousin, Leon Coon; nephews, Gage and Wesley; several aunts and uncles and large extended family. He also leaves his dog, Chance.
