PRINDLE – Claire A. (Pease) Prindle, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 1, 2012. Born May 9, 1921 to the late Morgan and Mabel (Saunders) Pease in Springfield, MA. She grew up in Riverton and graduated from The Gilbert School in Winsted. Claire worked for various companies including W.T. Grants in Winsted and eventually retired from AETNA in Hartford. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and keeping in touch with family and friends by email. Claire's greatest love was her family and will be deeply missed. She is survived by three sons, Michael Prindle and wife Patricia of West Hartford, David Prindle and wife Carol of Troy, MI and Thomas Prindle and Ruth Flores of East Hartford; a daughter, Susan Heald of Newington; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathon and wife Lorraine, Christina and fiancé Chris, Jose and wife Allie and David; and great grandchildren, Vincent, Nicholaus, William, Zachary, Frankie, Noelle, Jacob and Alexa. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Pease. Friends may call on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted from 6 – 8 PM.
