PALMER – Louis N. Palmer, Jr., 58, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at his home after being in declining health for a number of years. He was the loving husband of Kathleen (Boothe) Palmer. Born May 19, 1948 in Torrington, CT; the son of the late Louis and Winifred (Hunt) Palmer. He grew up in Winsted and spent most of his life in the Winsted/Norfolk area. He worked at Riiska’s Bus Company in Winsted as a Driver and Mechanic for years. He also worked at Regional District #7 High School for a number of years as a Custodian. He had a love of gardening and animals. In addition to his wife, Kathleen, he is survived by a sister, Judy Ransom. He was predeceased by two sisters. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at the New Boston Congregational Church, Rte 57, New Boston, MA at 2 p.m. Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted has care of the arrangements.
