DAVIS – Ruth (Frazee) Davis, 80, beloved mother passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 25, 1929 in Hartford, CT; the daughter of the late Charles O. and Anna (Hayes) Frazee. Ruth graduated from Wethersfield High School in 1947. She lived in the Wethersfield and Collinsville area prior to moving to her farmhouse in Winsted in 1977. Ruth owned and operated the We Care, Home Care Cleaning Service for many years. Ruth loved being a mom, spending time in her garden and taking care of her dogs. Thru the years she opened her home to many. She especially cherished spending time with her family. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Scott Blosser of New Hartford, Steven Blosser of Winsted, Sharon Blosser of Winsted, Mark and Joyce Blosser of Ecuador, Beth and Ned Dunbar of Winsted, Todd and Sandy Davis of Barkhamsted, Jennifer and Jess Kupec of Ellington, and her daughter in law Martha Pitchard. She leaves behind two brothers, Roy Frazee of SC and Lloyd Frazee of NC; two sisters, Beryl Duncan of Wethersfield and Karen Knapp of Rocky Hill; 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and her best friend Buster. She also leaves the love of her life, Richard Davis. She was predeceased by her infant son, Gary Blosser and a grandson, Benjamin Edward Blosser. Friends may call on Thursday October 7, 2010 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted from 6 PM - 8PM. Burial will be held on Friday, October 8th at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rocky Hill at 9 AM. Please join us on Friday, October 8th for a memorial service to celebrate her life at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, Winsted at 11AM. Memorial Contributions can be made to: The Alzheimer's Association.
