Dear Candy and Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. I have such nice memories of my many conversations with Jack from my days in Bakerville School. He will surely be missed.

Jack was a "Box Boy" and good friend to all who grew up in Norwood, MA. He was the guy who first attempted to teach me to drive a standard shift. I think we both lost one of our nine cat lives that night. There were many adventures that followed our "wonder years'. Teacher, businessman, coach - he was a many faceted jewel of a friend.

Our Varsity Baseball coach at Canton HS 68-70. A real good guy and excellent teacher of English ... got my 1st introduction to Shakespeare from Mr. Flaherty ... inspiring a lifelong interest in the Bard and prompted me to major in English at ECSU and Trinity. I'd heard he resided in the New Hartford area and now wish I'd have looked him up. Obituary did not mention his excellent teaching and coaching skills.
