To my Oldest and best friend David:
I heard about your beloved Mother Doris yesterday (Sunday the 24th). I was shocked and deeply saddened. Mrs. Anderson was like a Mother to me in all my visits to CT she treated me like a son. Her hospitality to me was better than anyone could expect. I will always miss Doris, as she was the most decent, honest,person I ever met. She was and always will be a great citizen/person of Winsted. I was born in Winsted in 1957 and will never forget my roots and real homeland.

Sorry to hear of Doris' passing. I haven't seen Doris in years but our families were close in the 50's. Doris' late husband Bill and my late husband Ray were cousins. Thinking of you all with sincere sympathy, Margaret Lawson.
